What we do

Our work falls into four main fields:

PSP uses the tools of social research and analysis to help clients understand the impact of their investments on their organisation and on the intended beneficiaries as well as the perspectives of the public and other stakeholders. To do this we use in-depth interviews, focus groups, deliberative research, dialogue events and surveys, including Internet surveys

We provide evidence-based recommendations to support the development of programmes, policies, and strategies, identifying any implications for organisational structures. Evidence can lead to clear and unambiguous recommendations but often there are different options, each with strengths and weaknesses. We use the evidence and our knowledge of our clients to develop options and set-out their implications. Analysis of management data, surveys, interviews, focus groups and facilitated workshops with staff and stakeholders all support the identification of strengths to be built on and weaknesses to be addressed.

We also work with clients to develop bespoke training packages that meet their specific needs whether this be to research the public, engage stakeholders or evaluate their programmes.
