Evaluation

PSP has an impressive track record of conducting high profile evaluations for a range of public sector clients.  Our understanding of policy issues and the policy-making process enables us to make actionable recommendations to ensure our clients learn from their experiences so that projects deliver on their objectives.

PSP plans and implements evaluation frameworks and strategies working with clients to clarify the aims and objectives of policies, programmes and projects to decide what it is important to evaluate.  We design and conduct the evaluation, analyse the findings and provide a publishable report, recognising accomplishments and making evidence-based recommendations where change is needed.

Using a mixture of research techniques, including analysis of management information, surveys, interviews and focus groups with beneficiaries and deliverers, our approach provides a fully rounded picture of the project or programme being evaluated.

As well as undertaking evaluations we help our clients to build their own capacity to evaluate in-house, by developing evaluation frameworks, logic models, ROAMEF statements and evaluation toolkits which allow clients to undertake their own data collection and analysis.  We also provide training in evaluation.
